Software.

A computer devoid of any software is unable to work. This is the software part that gives the material its entire life and intelligence.

1. Definition: A program is a set of programs (set of instructions) processing of information, containing the necessary procedures and an application database.

2. types:

There are two types of software:

- The basic software (operating systems). Examples (Windows, Unix, ...)

- Software applications. Examples (Word, Excel, MSN ...)
